Notice that it's dark outside.  Notice the transmission on the floor again - along with the racing clutch which turns out to have a 16v spline set while our rebuilt transmission has an 8v input shaft.  Who knew?  Not me when I installed it the first time.

Changing the clutch, that's me setting the flywheel bolts.  We had to put in what I like to call a "little-bunny-foo-foo" clutch (read as:  8v stock street single spring organic).  At least it was new. :-)

He did a great job with the car, putting us in 19th place with a 33.3 time.  However, we accidentally put the stickier tires in the rear and the "rocks" on the front causing the car not to turn as well as it can.

Yep, ready to run.  Except for a couple of things.  I have to change into pants (duh) and we left the autocross tires on for the first run - I almost wipe out a few times trying to get it to go down the track because it's so slippy-slidey all over the place.  I break the lights at 53mph and 19 seconds. :-)  Yeah, I had to slow down a lot.

We pulled everything apart hoping to get better seals at the couplings - as we knew that we had lost all our proper MAP vacuum and had to run on Alpha-N blending.
